You opened your mail and you got a letter that says that you are aging out of some of the association group insurance offered in your UBA GAP Membership plan.
What does this mean to you:
If only one person of a plan that included primary and spouse - but just one of them reaches the maximum age limit for one or more of the insurance products available in your product, the letter will let you know which particular member is no longer eligible for the Insurance listed in your letter. You have the option to remove that individual from the product or they can remain on the product and continue to use all the other UBA Membership benefits offered as well as any other insurance they have not reached the maximum age for eligibility.
If BOTH people (Primary Covered member & spouse) have reached the maximum age for insured product or if a single individual reached the maximum age for insured product, there are 3 options:
- Move to the UBA Membership where you will still enjoy the $0 Virtual Urgent Care & Virtual Talk Therapy Visits through MeMD, Free Vitamins and more.
- Depending on the plan and other insurance offered, you may keep the current plan knowing that you and/or spouse will not have insurance for the plans listed in your plan that you have reached the maximum age limit for.
- You can cancel your membership and any additional plans through UBA.
Want to talk to a live person - call your Personal Member Concierge at 866.438.4274 during office hours and we will be happy to explain your specific letter to you.
